What are we doing about COVID- 19?
In order to protect our patients, Osteopath and the community, we will be implementing a strict regimen of guidelines for patients and staff at Mixed Osteo. These guidelines are directly sourced from the Australian Government Department of Health. They involve the following:
All visitors entering the clinic will be asked to wash their hands with hand sanitiser or with soap and water using the technique outlined from the Australian Government Department of Health.
Osteo and patients will use alcohol hand sanitiser frequently while in attendance at the clinic.
Routine cleaning of both frequently touched and minimal touched surfaces, followed by disinfection.
Patients who develop a fever or cough, regardless of recent travel or exposure to people who have tested positive for COVID-19, will be asked NOT to attend the clinic.
Fortunately Mixed Osteo is considered an extremely low risk COVID-19 threat. Being located in Kensington and Moonee Ponds with only one Osteopathic practitioner working at a time and one patient in attendance at the clinic, it is of benefit to us and our clientele. This set up allows time in-between consults for adequate cleaning and disinfection. While isolation from potential risk is important, keeping your immune system strong through exercise is also important. Enabling you to exercise and be active to boost your immune system is a key objective that we take very seriously.
