Osteopathy & remedial massage in Kensington

We are not near Kensington. We are in it.

Book online

Mixed Osteo is at 92 Parsons Street, inside Renegade MMA, a few minutes' walk from Macaulay Road. If you live or train in Kensington, this is your local clinic in the most literal sense.

Being inside a working gym rather than a shopfront changes what we see. A lot of our Kensington patients walk in from a class, and a lot of the assessment happens standing up, in the position that caused the problem.

Getting here from Kensington

Driving

You are already here. Parsons Street runs off Macaulay Road, and the clinic is inside the Renegade MMA building.

Parking

Street parking on Parsons Street and the surrounding streets. Check signage, as some sections are time-limited during business hours.

Public transport

Macaulay and Kensington stations are both a short walk. The 57 tram runs along Racecourse Road.

Find the door: we are inside the Renegade MMA building at 92 Parsons Street. Entry is via the rear of the building, not the main gym doors. First-time visitors miss this regularly, so allow an extra minute.

Training in Kensington

Renegade MMA is in the same building — BJJ, MMA and no-gi, and the reason we ended up here. Samurai Karate on Racecourse Road runs kids' and adults' classes.

Beyond the mats, we see a lot of Kensington runners using the Moonee Ponds Creek trail, cyclists commuting through to the city, and people lifting at home or at gyms across the Flemington border.

Who we see from Kensington

Kensington patients are a mix: combat athletes from downstairs, runners off the creek trail, parents with kids in local sport, and people who work from home and have the neck and lower back to prove it.

Whatever brings you in, the first appointment covers a full history, gait and functional movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and a plan you leave with in writing.

What we offer

Questions from Kensington patients

Where exactly is the Kensington clinic?

92 Parsons Street, Kensington VIC 3031, inside the Renegade MMA building. Entry is via the rear of the building, not the main gym doors on the street.

Do I need to be a Renegade member to book?

No. We are an independent clinic that happens to be located inside the gym. Anyone can book, member or not.

Do I need a referral?

No. Osteopaths are first-contact practitioners in Australia, so you can book directly. A referral only matters for funding pathways such as a Medicare care plan, DVA or WorkCover.

Can I claim on private health insurance?

Yes, if you hold extras cover that includes osteopathy or remedial massage. Check your level of cover with your fund.
