Moonee Ponds is a straight run down Mount Alexander Road from the Junction, and most of our Moonee Ponds patients are at the clinic in about ten minutes.
We are at 92 Parsons Street, Kensington, inside Renegade BJJ. It is worth the extra few minutes if you want someone who treats combat athletes and lifters as a specialty rather than a sideline.
Getting here from Moonee Ponds
Driving
About ten minutes from Moonee Ponds Junction, straight down Mount Alexander Road.
Parking
Street parking around Parsons Street, without the Puckle Street competition.
Public transport
Moonee Ponds and Kensington are both on the Craigieburn line. The 59 tram runs down Mount Alexander Road.
Find the door: we are inside the Renegade BJJ building at 92 Parsons Street. Entry is via the rear of the building, not the main gym doors. First-time visitors miss this regularly, so allow an extra minute.
Training in Moonee Ponds
Moonee Ponds has a real martial arts and boxing presence. ONE TWO Boxing on Mount Alexander Road, Shogun Martial Arts on Puckle Street and Professional Taekwondo on Moore Street all operate within a couple of kilometres of the Junction.
We also see plenty of Moonee Ponds runners using the Maribyrnong River trail, and juniors from the local clubs.
Who we see from Moonee Ponds
Striking athletes, martial arts juniors, runners off the river trail, and a steady share of general musculoskeletal presentations. If your child trains, our judo page covers how growing athletes differ from adults.
Whatever brings you in, the first appointment covers a full history, gait and functional movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and a plan you leave with in writing.

Why travel to Kensington when there are clinics in Moonee Ponds?
For general treatment, the closest good clinic is usually the right answer. People travel to us when they want a practitioner who trains combat sports, or who can handle fight camp nutrition and injury management alongside treatment.
How long does it take to get there from Moonee Ponds?
About ten minutes by car down Mount Alexander Road, or a few stops on the Craigieburn line.
Do I need a referral?
No. Osteopaths are first-contact practitioners in Australia, so you can book directly. A referral only matters for funding pathways such as a Medicare care plan, DVA or WorkCover.
Can I claim on private health insurance?
Yes, if you hold extras cover that includes osteopathy or remedial massage. Check your level of cover with your fund.
